It is a very big deal when knowing how to handle situations, like thinking under pressure, remembering things, learning, and paying attention. We learn cognitive by experiencing something, processing it, and remembering it. Learning is important for humans in communication and understanding how things work.
There are many theorists who developed theories on how this works and how to better these skills. The theorist I found most interesting is Jean Piaget, a psychologist and developmental biologist. He studied the intellectual development and abilities of infants, children, and teens. His theory is a blueprint of the stags of normal intellectual development from infancy through adult hood.
